A few things to remember when choosing your chocolate fountain hire company, price does matter if somebody is offering a super cheap deal that makes you think "how can they do it for that and make money" stop for a second and think, they are not doing it for fun, so to get the price so low this must reflect the quality of:
a) the chocolate
b) the dips
c) the fountain itself
On the flip side there are companies who over charge and boast of the quality of chocolate etc... we place ourselves right inbetween the "wow how cheap" and "OMG I could buy shares in Cadburys for that" to give you the best prices and yummiest dips!
We use Giles & Posner Fondue formulated chocolate, which is made from the finest Belgian chocolate and is specially formulated, some companies will use very low quality milk chocolate and to help it cascade will actually add upto 1 litre of vegetable oil, think of mixing your favourite bar of chocolate with half a cup of veg oil.... not very appealing is it!
